First, note that no action is required on your part. This message is to notify you about a change to the Postini Message Security Service included with your Google Apps account. This service is being replaced by new Google Apps email security features.
Based on an examination of your email settings, you are not using the Postini service and your mail is flowing directly to Google. With the release of these new email security features, we have removed access to Postini services from your Google Apps control panel for:
The Google Apps team has built the key features of Postini directly into the Google Apps control panel, which provides a more robust administrator experience than the current Postini offering. The Google Apps control panel now includes the following email management features:
- Content Compliance and Objectionable Content filters
- Compliance Footers
- Approved and Blocked Sender lists
- Attachment Controls
- Restricted email delivery
